Edutainment 

 

Powerhouse Youth Project produces engaging assemblies in a location to meet the at-risk youth right where they are at...their school. These assemblies can be described as "Edutainment" - educational while also being entertaining.

Assemblies include:
-  Professionally produced videography
-  A performance ( concert )
-  Giveaways
-  Relevant presentation on their struggles and why it places them at risk.
-  Engaging and influential speakers (athletes, celebrities, etc)
-  A text introduction to enroll them in the Powerhouse platform so that they can receive         access to resources to help them with their struggles.

  * 90% of students who attended a Powerhouse Assembly responded that they wanted
     to move forward in the Powerhouse process.
